Light, life and darkness are key themes throughout the book of John. The true light, we learn in John 1 9:13 is God and because there is a true light there is also a false light. That false light is darkness in the world. This week in our Book of John Series, we learn how to prevail over darkness with the one true light.
Matthew 6 – Don’t Worry About Tomorrow
So many of us live our lives past the moment of today. In Matthew ch. 6, we learn that we shouldn’t rush our lives away. Instead, we should live for today because God will give us grace based on our daily needs.
Church Picnic – July 25
Spend a relaxing afternoon getting to know others at Cornerstone Church! Please bring a side dish to share. The church will provide meat for grilling.

Vacation Bible School – July 21-24
Our VBS theme this year is Arrow Island: Choosing God’s Way! The lessons throughout the week will equip vacation bible schoolers with knowledge to choose God’s way in every detail of their lives. Vacation Bible School runs from July 21-24 at the church and will include biblical lessons, crafts, games and tons of fun! On Friday July 24, the church will hold a movie night on the church lawn and on Saturday July 25, the week will conclude with our annual church picnic. VBS students and their families are encouraged to join us for both the movie on the lawn and the church picnic.
Students ages 5-13 are welcome to attend Vacation Bible School. Registration forms are available at the church.
